Mato Grosso state is the leader in Brazilian ranking of deforestation in Legal Amazon

From August 2014 to June 2015 were registered 943 square kilometers of deforestation, up 149% compared to the same period last year (August 2013 to June 2014), when 378 square kilometers of forest were cut down.
