Venezuelan journalist with more than 17 years of professional practice with a special interest in investigating and understanding the intersection between economics, environment and human rights. She is co-founder of the Network of Journalists of the Venezuelan Amazon and professor of Investigative Journalism at UCAB Guayana. She has been a fellow of the Rainforest Research Network (RIN) and the Rainforest Journalism Fund of the Pulitzer Center. She collaborates with international media and works on cross-border collaborative projects focussing on extractivism, socio-environmental conflicts and crime. She has been part of teams that have won Gabo, IPYS Venezuela, SIP and ONA awards.
